Day 1 | Welcome to Warsaw
Connect with Warsaw’s steadfast spirit – a city rebuilt
from the ashes of World War II. After checking in this
afternoon, relax and unwind or take a stroll through
the city. This afternoon meet your fellow travellers and
Travel Director at the hotel.

Day 2 | Discover Historic Warsaw
This morning, embark on an in-depth guided sightseeing
tour with a Local Specialist. See the iconic and
unexpected highlights of what has been the capital of
Poland since the late 16 century. Gain a deeper
understanding of how the city was rebuilt after the
devastation of the Second World War. In your free time,
you may consider an Optional Experience to Wilanów
Palace.

Wilanow Palace - This splendid baroque palace was built in the late 17th century as a summer home for King Jan
Sobieski III. On our visit, led by our Local Specialist, we’ll see the collection of royal furniture, portraits and china that
forms part of the National Museum.

Warsaw Five Senses Tour - Journey to the bohemian district of Praga, voted among the 10 coolest neighbourhoods in
Europe by the Independent, where our Local Specialist will show us Poland's first Vodka Museum. Experience a

senses, we'll sample local and national delicacies before a scenic drive enjoying the lights of Warsaw; one of Europe's

Day 3 | Onwards to Coastal Gdańsk
Journey to Gdańsk, the amber capital of the world and
one of the oldest cities in Poland, stop at a local farm and
enjoy a Be My Guest lunch, filled with local and home
grown produce.

Harbour Cruise and Westerplatte - Get the real feel of Poland's most-important sea port by taking a cruise with our

Day 4 | Gdańsk Your Way
Start the day with sightseeing of the old town with your
Local Specialist. Dive Into Culture during a visit to the
European Solidarity Centre which reveals the history of
Solidarity, the Polish trade union and civil resistance
movement. The rest of your day is free to explore
Gdansk on your terms. Admire the architecture in the
historic Long Market and wander down Long Lane to
Golden Gate, or consider joining an Optional Experience
to visit Malbork Castle, founded by the Teutonic Order of
Knights in 1274. Tonight, dinner is served at your hotel.

Malbork Castle - Journey back in time with our Local Specialist to explore the breathtaking UNESCO-listed Malbork.
Completed over 600 years ago as Europe's largest brick castle, it's now the World’s biggest castle measured by land
area. Resting on the Noget River, the fairy-tale setting and enchanting atmosphere of this beautifully-preserved
medieval fortress and former headquarters of the Teutonic Knights Crusaders is an adventure not to be missed.

Day 5 | Journey to Toruń and Cultural Wrocław
You’ll join your Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour that
will reveal the city’s Leaning Tower, the house of famed

Discover Old Wroclaw - Join our Local Specialist to step back in time to discover the 1000 year old Wroclaw. Learn
about the ‘Battle of Breslau', one of the major and most tragic actions of WWII. Admire the unbelievable work of
reconstruction of a city that rose like Phoenix from the Ashes. Crossing the famous Oder river, we'll pass Wroclaw's
islands, known as ‘Polish Venice’ and take a discovery walk through the illuminated alleyways of the medieval quarter.

Day 6 | Explore Wrocław
This morning, join your Local Specialist on a guided tour
of the city. Discover its complex history and see some of
its most important sites, including Wrocław Cathedral,
the Main Market Square, Old Town Hall and Salt Square,
a former medieval marketplace and today, a flower
market. Dive Into Culture and visit the Baroque
ceremonial hall of Aula Leopoldina at Wrocław University.
Visit the oldest confectionery in Wrocław on a MAKE
TRAVEL MATTER® experience where tradition is
cherished. This small and ancient bakery is home to a
mouth-watering treat. In the afternoon, consider joining
an Optional Experience to Książ Castle and UNESCO-listed
Świdnica Church of Peace.

Ksiaz Castle and Church of Peace - You won’t believe your eyes viewing Ksiaz Castle as it defies gravity, perched
majestically atop a cliff. Testimony to its craftsmanship, the 13th-century castle has stood the test of time. With its
breathtaking scenery and sumptuous interiors, it's witnessed amazing events, including preparations to become
Hitler's headquarters. With our Local Specialist, we'll also see the UNESCO-listed Swidnica Church of Peace, the largest
timber-framed religious building in Europe. Refreshments in a local restaurant are included.

Day 7 | Off to the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane
Your journey today takes you towards the foot of the
Tatra Mountains, the highest mountain range of the
Carpathians, which stretch across Central Europe. Spend
some free time enjoying the town or consider taking an
Optional Experience through lush countryside to explore
the mountains and valleys for which this region is so
famous. Tonight, you’ll warm up at your Stays With
Stories accommodation, the Hotel Nosalowy Dwór,
nestled right next to the stunning high peaks of the
Tatra Mountains. You’ll soon discover why the resort is
said to be the perfect place to rest and recharge as you
soak up the breath-taking mountain views and a direct
neighbour to the Tatra National Park.

Zakopane Treasures & Adventure - Hear legends of Zakopane from our Local Specialist and immerse yourself in Goral
culture. Discover the most famous examples of the traditional wooden architecture and craftsmanship of the
'Zakopane Style', invented by Stanislaw Witkiewicz, during a visit to the beautiful nineteenth century Villa Koliba, as
well as the nearby meritorious cemetery with its sorrowful Jesus and wooden statues. Pass by Zakopane's ski jumping
arena which hosts the best athletes from around the world every year during the World Cup and finally travel into the
mountain forests of Tatra National Park and visit the famous Jaszczurowka Chapel.

Magical Evening Around the Bonfire - Join us as we travel back to a simpler time We'll drive to an old rangers hut in
the Tatra National Park, then gather round the bonfire and share stories with friends while sausages crackle and
roast. A magical place at the entrance to the Chocholowska valley, it was a favourite retreat of John Paul II in the Tatra
National Park. We'll enjoy traditional Highlander fare, roast our own sausage and try local vodka Cytrynowka, made
with a secret local recipe. By evening's end you'll feel so truly local you'll even be able to pronounce to name of the
valley above.

Day 8 | Continue to Kraków
Travel to Kraków where you will enjoy views of the Royal
Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill during your tour with
a Local Specialist. Your walking tour through the Old
Town includes a visit to the Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s
Church. This evening, perhaps sample some lively Polish
entertainment with dinner.

Day 9 | Kraków Your Way
Consider joining an Optional Experience to the Wieliczka
Salt Mine, renowned as the Underground Salt Cathedral
of Poland and home to an entire chapel carved from
rock salt, as well as dozens of sculptures. The rest of the
day is yours to explore the sights on your own. Enjoy a
slice of Polish Sernik Babci on the Old Town Square, or
perhaps visit a traditional Communist era milk bar?

From Iron Curtains to Ghetto Walls - Step back in time to journey into Poland’s communist past. Nowa Huta is an
entire city built during the communism period. We’ll hear amazing communist stories from our Local Specialist and
sample a few flavours of the era. Later, we’ll stroll through Szeroka Street in the Kazimierz district to see synagogues
and the birthplace of Helena Rubinstein, before driving through the former ghetto of Podgorze. Kazimierz is steeped
in history and its streets were used in several scenes in the film "Schindler’s List". The evening is rounded off with a
variety of traditional Polish dishes such as bigos and potato pancakes at a local restaurant.

Wieliczka Salt Mine Exploration - With our Local Specialist, we'll visit this amazing UNESCO World Heritage-listed site
just outside Krakow and marvel at the unique sculptures and setting of this 800-year old salt mine. See chambers,
chapels and even salt chandeliers as we follow our guide 135 m (440 ft) underground.

Day 10 | Venture to Auschwitz and Return to Warsaw
Our journey this morning takes us to the former
concentration camp at Auschwitz, a poignant reminder
of the horrors perpetrated during the Holocaust.
Travelling to Jasna Góra Monastery, we rub shoulders
with Catholic pilgrims, who have journeyed to the
famous shrine for centuries. We'll Dive Into Culture and
see the iconic Black Madonna of Częstochowa. This
evening, we arrive in Warsaw, where we enjoy a Farewell
Dinner with newfound friends.

Chopin’s Warsaw - The spirit of Warsaw and the music of Chopin go hand in hand. This enchanting recital of his music,

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.
Final Payment: The balance must be paid in full 90 days before the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by Client:
More than 90 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
30-90 days before departure: 65% of the total tour cost.
Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost.
Cancellation by Company: We reserve the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
Changes to Itinerary
Flexibility Required: Weather and road conditions may necessitate changes to the planned route and itinerary. Flexibility is essential.
Substitutions: We reserve the right to substitute accommodations and services of similar standard when necessary.
Travel Insurance
Mandatory: Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal injury, and emergency evacuation is mandatory for all participants.
Proof Required: Proof of insurance must be provided before the tour begins.
