This morning, North Travel became aware of a suspicious email sent from a compromised company address. We’re taking immediate action and want to ensure our community is protected and informed.
What Happened?
An email with the subject "PO #059572728181-INV-Overdue" was sent from jared@northtravel.co.nz on 8 May 2025. This email was not authorised by North Travel and contains a fraudulent document link via OneDrive.
If you received this email, please do not click on any links or open attachments. The document may contain malicious software or attempt to steal your personal information.
What We’re Doing
Our team has secured the affected email account and is currently investigating this matter.
We are also reviewing all internal protocols and reinforcing our cyber security measures to prevent future incidents.
What You Should Do
Delete the email immediately if you received it.
Do not download or interact with the attachment or links.
